Janele Vezeau graduated with a Baccalaureate in Business Administration, majoring in marketing, from HEC Montreal (University of Montreal). She began her career in Montreal as a sales representative for Pearson Education Canada and was promoted as Marketing Manager where she oversaw the products marketing strategy and promotional tools. Managing the promotional budget, she was also involved in market research and focus groups. Upon moving to Regina, she joined Farm Credit Canada as a Marketing Specialist in their Software Division. Her main tasks were creating and delivering bilingual marketing material for the Software Division, planning new product launches, overseeing training projects for customers and staff and creating and keeping website content up-to-date. In 2015, she became Project Manager of Dr. Sylvain Charlebois’ research and consulting enterprise which transformed in 2018 as the Executive Director position at the new Canadian Agri-Food Foresight Institute. Her role mainly involves negotiating and supervising all contracts and overseeing the website content.
